Who owns the data

The trainer owns their trainees' identifiable responses. Trainers Portal stores and processes them on the trainer's behalf.

What trainees give

A name and mobile number (used only to link a trainee's pre and post forms), profile answers (age band, gender, education, job role, region), and questionnaire answers. Nothing is stored until the trainee agrees on the consent screen; the time and consent version are recorded.

How identity is protected

Names and phone numbers are kept apart from answers and joined only by an internal record number. Phone numbers are encrypted at rest. Trainers see only their own trainees.

Research use

Only with the trainee's separate opt-in, and only anonymised: name and phone are removed before any combined analysis. Results are published only for groups large enough that no one can be identified.

Your rights

A trainee can ask their trainer to delete their record at any time. Deleted records are removed from results immediately.

Security

Encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access checks on every request, an audit log of sensitive actions, and daily encrypted backups.
